Made in an Italian factory, the fabrics refer to the island of Capri, which embodies everything our imagination conjures up when we think of the best place on earth: artisan shops in the narrow streets of seaside towns and specialty boutiques; restaurants with exquisite Mediterranean cuisine and markets; stalls filled with baskets of lemons, cheeses and local delicacies.

Lightweight and smooth, the fabric drapes well and resembles brocade, referencing the historical past that invisibly reigns in Italy and blurs the boundaries of time on the island of Capri.

The skillful double weave of twisted yarns creates a dense, worked structure, while the faint sheen, hidden in the depths of the pearl-pearl glow of the front side and the matte surface of the underside emphasize the exquisite contrast of textures.

The underside has the texture of fine burlap – it is rough and has knots. The fabric wants to be touched to feel its character.

The 65% cotton composition gives the fabric tactility and warmth, making it ideal for use in home interiors, while the width of 300 cm becomes an additional advantage that expands Capri’s application possibilities.

One of the central places in the palette is occupied by Pantone’s color of the year – luxurious carmine red, symbolizing the courage to experiment, openness to ideas and freedom of creativity.

It is accompanied by other Pantone colors: complex gray-blue, pearlescent-powder, and beige in several on-trend shades. Thus, the Capri palette supports Pantone’s concept of turning to nature and searching for the creative energy within oneself.

The bright colors in the collection continue Heimtextil’s theme of meaningful new shades: lemon, emerald, intense blue challenge the assumption that only calm, “non-shouting”, muted shades can carry nobility and style.
