A house is not limited by walls. The terrace, the pool area, the patio – they are all part of the house, and we can make them comfortable and beautiful with Eustergerling’s first outdoor fabric collection, Siesta.
Olefin is the material for the development of which scientists Carl Ziegler and Giulio Natta received the Nobel Prize. The world appreciated the strong, lightweight and very tactile artificial thread, so it took a special place in the textile industry.
Olefin is dyed during the yarn manufacturing process and retains its fresh color for a long time, which, combined with the variety of textures, weaves and designs, makes it a versatile material for any project.
The Siesta catalog clearly demonstrates the advantages of olefin and its resistance to environmental influences: the fabrics are flexible, not afraid of UV radiation, fading, temperature fluctuations and abrasion (50 000 cycles according to the Martindale test). They also repel moisture, dust and dirt.
Compared to acrylic, olefin’s durability is higher. It does not conduct static electricity, is used in different weave variants and opens up a wide range of possibilities for working with completely different palettes and interiors.
Olefin is an environmentally friendly and safe material for humans and animals, which is developed under conditions of practically waste-free production and repeatedly recycled after use.
Thanks to the special Flora carbon coating, the fabrics limit the penetration of water, including chlorinated water from the pool, and are not afraid of rain and splashes, juices and alcoholic beverages. Droplets simply remain on the surface of the fibers and it is enough to brush them off or wait for them to dry on their own. Antibacterial impregnation completely eliminates germs and bacteria.
Siesta is suitable for upholstering upholstered furniture, upholstering chaise lounges and beach chairs, making covers for cushions and mattresses, drapes on terraces, as well as for textile decoration of yachts, balconies, summer verandas, summer houses, gardens, beaches, swimming pools. Of course, the characteristics of the fabric allow you to use it for textile design of interior spaces, because despite the strength of the thread, it is pleasant to the touch and similar to the usual upholstery materials.
The fabric does not absorb dirt. In order to cope with traces of food stains or sunscreen, it is enough to clean them with soap and water and let them dry. Fabrics can also be washed in a washing machine at 30 degrees and dry cleaned.
