Decameron Collection

A free interpretation of Giovanni Boccaccio's legendary work in fabrics

A catalog inspired by Boccaccio’s Decameron, a collection of inspiring short stories about the hope and longing for life that lives in human hearts.

The magic is in the threads

The shimmering of pearl gold and silver paint on velvet creates a special 3D effect, an optical illusion. Touching the fabric feels like touching the sun and moonlight. The velvet is folded into volumetric spectacular folds, in which the visual illusion of a three-dimensional pattern is born.

Digital prints

Each print carries its own idea. The flagship design is definitely the soloist of the collection. It is a fantasy variation on the theme of damask pattern in space. The pattern is distinguishable, although at first glance it may seem unclear, indistinct. It makes you gaze, thinking about what secrets it contains, and the gradient emphasizes the designer’s author’s view of the collection.

Plant motifs

They resemble embroidery stitches and at the same time evoke associations with ancient Italian ornaments. Here it is appropriate to mention a short but apt quote from Bocaccio: “Let it be written – Nobility”. As we listen to the stories these designs tell, we think of Renaissance classical ornaments made with floral motifs. Combined with a spectacular palette, the intertwining colors look particularly impressive, and the patterns on a dark background bring a special note of luxury.

Redesigned damascus

Despite its recognizability, it is changed, destroyed, mixed with other ornaments, texture is superimposed on it, in which everyone sees something different. It copes with its task of creating interesting accents in the interior easily.

Coinage impression

The highlight of the collection is the design, which resembles the impression of embossing and creates a 3D effect, as if the pattern were floating above the fabric. At one look at it, you can imagine the luxurious halls of royal palaces – magnificent palazzos, the names of which are known all over the world. But even in modern interiors this design can be easily applied.

Aged fabric effect

The aim of the designers was to get the effect of aged fabric, because it transforms the room and creates a very special atmosphere in it. Each of the created designs has a vivid character and favorably and emphasizes the individuality of the space.
