La Bohème Collection

The new classic collection from Venesto, which has become a symbol of unique French style

The three-dimensional effect in the fabrics is combined with the fluted surface and perfectly emphasizes the monumental and architectonic nature of the collection: once the fabrics are arranged in spectacular, large, molded folds, they do not need to be touched again – they perfectly hold their shape and solidify into luxurious drapes.

Artistic improvisation

The new collection from Venesto focuses on three-dimensional, stenciled relief patterns, which can be either ornamental or directly based. They have been inspired by bas-reliefs and embossed images known since antiquity. Thus, the skillful embossing and openwork in metal became the basis for designs on fabric.

Practicality and versatility

The high durability achieved by High Density yarns allows the fabrics to be used not only for draperies and upholstery, but also for wall coverings. With a complex composition of 39% linen, the fabrics are characterized by a unique beauty that is hidden in their non-ideality. Polyester makes them practical and convenient for use in home interiors.

Jardin de paon

The design is dedicated to the peacocks brought from India by Alexander the Great, which quickly won the love of Europeans. 3D-volume in it is achieved through the base. The silhouette of the peacock is engraved, fringed and edged with fabric, and this difference is especially noticeable to the touch. The texture of the design and a slight oriental flair in the classic version unequivocally set it apart from the rest.

La cabaret

The mood of “Moulin Rouge”, the first cabaret in Paris, the birthplace of the cancan and the favorite entertainment place of the Impressionists, permeates the second design of the catalog. Despite the classical canonicity, the ornament is playful, the elements on the fabric seem to dance. At the same time, the pattern seems to be concave into the fabric due to the protruding base, displaced, as on paper.

La Scala

First in Italy and then in France, this vertical damask pattern takes us back to the homes of the French aristocracy of the seventeenth century. Its large-portrait monograms are emphasized by three-dimensional execution, and the fabric confidently declares its noble origin.

Grand Palais

The plant motif also continues the theme of classic and damask pattern, which is practically “pressed” into the base. The center of the pattern reveals a lush flower masterfully framed by intertwining stems and leaves. Despite the apparent strictness, often inherent in the classics, the softness of the fabric compensates for the traditionalism of the pattern and creates a feeling of coziness and home.

Turandot

This design sounds through the music from the opera Turandot, which has won over the Parisians. The striped border pattern makes a familiar motif look new and more distinct, while the repeated elements form a harmonious, slightly oriental pattern.

Basilique

A clear, elegant pattern comes to the fore in this design. The classic curl in the center of the composition and exquisite voluminous leaves around it are made by a large number of threads using a special technology, thanks to which the strict design acquires a truly three-dimensional volume and stands out significantly against the background.

Petit lys

A variation of the fleur-de-lis, the famous lily flower. In this case, the “little lily” is born from the symbiosis of plant motifs and geometry, and the combination of the two threads creates an expressive contrast that adds charm and complexity to the ornament. The flowing lines are reminiscent of the stucco elements that adorned royal residences.

Voyage

The fancy Moroccan lattice illustrates the synthesis of two cultures and, just like the other designs, plays on the difference in textures: shining and matte threads create spectacular lattice elements with a dual structure – soft and laconic at the same time.
