E.Degas Collection

An ode to a master of genius

Edgar Degas was a French painter and one of the most original representatives of Impressionism. Eustergerling gave the soft textured velvet collection its name.

About the collection

He knew how to feel life and could devote months drawing one woman’s hand. Only geniuses are allowed to do this. Eustergerling dedicated its new velvet collection to the genius master and gave it his name. E.Degas is sensual and lively, like a painting of a great artist. He did not like priming his works and applied the colors directly on the canvas. “Velvet” base became a recognizable feature of his author’s handwriting. This unique feature is reflected in the E.Degas collection.

Impressionism in fabric

The delicate fabric conveys the charm of free movement and the innovative look characteristic of Impressionism. Add authentic Degas colors to your interior! Soft pastel shades are taken from the artist’s canvases. They are equally close to the picturesque canvases and life outside the windows of a modern urban apartment. Color accents are arranged extremely accurately. To the misty shades of green, blue, blue, pink powder were added gray and beige intonations.

The aesthetics of velvet

The front side of the fabric has a special velvety softness. For this purpose, it has undergone a special finishing treatment on a brushing machine. The pile retains its aesthetics and direction even with intensive daily use. The fabric perfectly emphasizes the individual character of furniture upholstery, and its wear resistance is not inferior to that of leatherette (100000 units of Martindale). To emphasize the aesthetics of velvet and to give the finished drapes an expressive look, we recommend using E.Degas fabrics with lining.
